![]() ![]() ![]() In his junior year, Gerald played football, at wide receiver and defensive back. Gerald Ross, one of Bristol’s outstanding athletes in the 1990s, he was a three-year letter winner, both in Basketball and Track & Field. He worked for US Steel, Congoleum and American Can where he was Union President. Andy is blessed with seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. They had four children, Andrew (deceased), Harry, Nancy (Hodges) and Lisa (Worthington). In 1954, Andy married his high school sweetheart Arlene Pitman who passed away in 2004 after 50 years of marriage. ![]() He now joins his counterpart Margaret Adams, “Best Female Athlete”, inducted in 2015. In his senior year, Andy was selected the “Best Male Athlete”. Andy scored 32 points in those two games.Īndy was selected First Team Lower Bucks All Star as a forward in Basketball. The team advanced to the PIAA District 1 Tournament losing in the second round. He scored in double figures in 23 games, 6 over 20 points. As a senior he lead the Warriors to a 20 – 8 record with a team high scoring average of 14.5 points. He scored double figures in 9 games, one game with 26. As a junior season he averaged ouer 10 points a game on a team that averaged 38 points. In Basketball, Andy was a two year varsity player. ![]()
